This meeting most everyone arrived about an hour early because Gareth and Richard thought it would be fun to B.Q hot dogs that we had left over. There was soda and chips also. We had a nice time. Maybe do that again.

President: Mark started with introductions around the room. We voted Glenn & Cindy Hammack, as new members tonight, they had fulfilled their requirements.
Glenn paid me $40.00 for the treasurer.

Vice-President: No information at this time.

Treasurer: Mike has reported that we have a good balance in the bank.

Land use & Delegate: Del is not present tonight.

Membership: There has been one contact. Gary has informed us of a need for more SUV runs for those who have stock vehicles. He also brought up the need for who ever is trail boss on a run to keep track of who is there.

Correspondence: Blue Ribbon Coalition gave us a bronze metal for our donation.

Gary had informed us of 4Wheel Parts “Operation Light Sabre” had donated 30 sets of light for several humvees. The Ledger Dispatch did not want to put an article out for us on the lights.


We decided to not be part of the Cancer Walk this year. We will try next year.
New Business: Where do we want to go for Memorial Day 2008? No Idea yet.
Richard feels we need a form for the trail boss. Sally will e-mail Mark a form she uses with her horse club.

Future Runs: Rubicon July 11th to 13th Slick Rock July 14th Destruction Derby July 29th, Dousey Aug. 4th to 11th.
Labor Day at Hope Valley-August 31 to September 3rd. Pot luck on Sunday.
Some of us is bringing their RVs’ up to save spots. Mark will e-mail Mike Stroud to invite him to come on the Dear Valley Run on Saturday.
We will talk about an Apple Hill & Ponderosa run next meeting.

Past Runs: Adopt-a-Trail was a great day, we had two rangers Mike Stroud & Doug Barber with us for the ride. They were very impressed with our cleanning effert and the vehicles. We need to make sure we wear the proper gear for cutting trees. Richard had amazed the rangers on his gear.
There will be more information on gate work, be ready when they want it done.

Airport Flat, Ron reported on this run, he and others had a wild time on the trail.
Moab, Gareth went with family and others. Mostly a mountain bike run.
Kids on the Rocks, Gary said they had 24 vehicles for this day. He had 3 ladies with him.

Pegi reported on the BLM and Sierra Pacific meeting in West Point. Forest people could not make it due to the Lake Tahoe fire. No decision has been made.
