TREASURERS
REPORT: Judy’s report was
short and sweet. Beginning balance is $840.28. Current balance is
$840.28. She is unable to locate Pete and Karen to reimburse them for
the face painting expense and she still is waiting for the bill for the
tee shirt art of $150.00 so she can pay that.
SECRETARYS
REPORT: The secretary was
notified by email that she can’t count. Therefore last month’s minutes
will be corrected from “after payment balance will be $649.28” to “after
payment balance will be $799.28”. Also Old Business was printed where
New Business should have been.
MEMBERSHIP:
Gary has received one
application for Lynn and Bob Shields to become new members. Lynn and
Bob Edmundson have also fulfilled their requirements but have not
submitted an application as of yet. It was decided to vote on both
families. They were sent outside (unfortunately it was not raining)
while a discussion was held on both Bobs. It was moved and seconded and
unanimous to accept Lynn and Bob Shields as new members.
“Congratulations”. It was then moved and seconded and unanimous to
accept Lynn and Bob Edmundson as new members. “Congratulations”. A
discussion was held on how to tell the Lynn and Bobs apart. It was
agreed by the body that the dues paid now in November will continue
through the next year.

Richard would like all who help at the Fun Fest to wear their new
shirts.
NEW BUSINESS:
The red, white and blue
windshield banners are in. They cost $8.50 each.
PAST RUNS:
Ron went on the Indian
Valley run with the Forest Service. It was well attended on our side.
It was very informative. There were some very informed people in the
face of the forest service. Facts were pointed out to the forest
service. From there we went to Upper Blue Lake and descended to Red
Lake. The next step is information will be sent out to involved
parties, that includes the MLRC. There will be a choice of options for
all to choose from.
Mike and several
others went to Bronco Canyon. Mike went up on Friday night. They had a
great time. There was no real damage to anyone’s rig but the trail
through the river bed had changed dramatically in places. One
problem they had were the bees. They were like a carpet on the ground.
Otherwise, there was no one else on the trail and it was nice. On
Sunday they went to El Dorado Canyon. They followed the creek for about
two miles and it was an interesting trip. A good day, but a long day.
The Pinion Plaza were they stayed was real nice. Only $15.00 per night.
- FUTURE RUNS:
- Richard is going to go clean up
on the adopt-a-trail this Saturday. He will leave Amador Station at
8:00 am.
- Thanksgiving to Dillon Beach,
Clear Creek and Glamis. You are invited to go to any of the above.
- December 2nd – Toy
Run at Nimbus Dam
- December 9th –
Christmas Party at Richard and Gigi’s, a sign up sheet for dishes
will be posted.
- Ron is going to California City
which is on the other side of the Tehachapi’s the week between
Christmas and New Years.
- Ron would like to set up a run
on the Dusey in July or August.
Meeting adjourned
at 9:00 pm.
Respectfully
submitted: Carol Whitehead
