PRESIDENTS MESSAGE: Ron was not present at the start of the meeting so V.P. Mike Mole’ led the meeting. There was an introduction of the guests present was made and what they drive.

VICE PRESIDENTS MESSAGE: It has been a quiet month. Last time it snowed Mike went to Schaad’s and played. There had 3 CJ5’s, a Dodge 50 and Dana took out her Toy. They had a great day.

TREASURERS REPORT: Judy reported we have $1,261.85; prior to meeting she collected $70.00 (all have now paid their dues). This brings it up to $1,331.00. She will now pay united. Mike gave here another $35.00 collected. The service fee has been waived thanks to our V.P. Mike also had the new signature cards to be filled out. Judy donated $13.00 she won during the snow patrol day.

SECRETARYS REPORT: After being told that Mike and Sally’s house is now remodeled NOT remolded also Glamis was misspelled, the corrections made, the minutes were approved.

MEMBERSHIP: There had been interest to come on the snow patrol but they did not show up. John Pumphyre did join us and showed interest in our club but he is not here tonight.

DELEGATE AND LAND USE: Del is out of town tonight. The local paper ran information on land use. A meeting was held in Jackson but our club was not informed. We must get on their mailing list. Mike Stoller will attend the next meeting if able.

CORRESPONDENCE: Gary has not received anything other than emails. Some of our club events have been in the local paper. Good Job Gary!

Our raffle will continue this week. Sally will collect the money and the name will be drawn at the end of the meeting.

A thank you was received from Blue Ribbon for our $250.00 contribution. Blue Ribbon magazine, United 4 Wheel was received.

Ron our President arrived at the meeting at 6:58 pm and took over the meeting.

OLD BUSINESS: A short report was given on our Sweetheart breakfast meet. It was well attended and enjoyed. The Snow Patrol had a good turn out. We filled up a big table at Marlene and Glenn’s in Plymouth before going on the Snow Patrol. Everyone brought a can of chili that we put together for lunch on the Snow Patrol. It was great because it was cold.

SPECIAL GUEST: At this time Ron introduced our guest Oly Olson. Oly had asked to address the members about the Winter Fun Fest problem. One of our members missed getting his prize because he was in the kitchen working when his name was called and he could not hear his name. His prize was re-drawn, so he lost it. Oly began by telling how valuable the club is at the Fun Fest. He stated there had been some changes in how the raffle was ran this year. A “Call Raffle” was held this year. All members were not notified that it was to be a call raffle. There was a communication break down. The prize that would have been won was a gun rack and a t-shirt. Oly said he offered to get another gun rack and t-shirt that night to correct this but it was refused. A lengthy discussion was held; suggestions made were; have one member hold all the tickets, collect and prizes out where the raffle is held. Problem; only a few were able to attend this year and this would have made us short handed in the kitchen. We will have to think about how to deal with this because everyone loves going to this event and working.

RAFFLE: $36.00 was collected tonight. Jerry won $18.00 and a Tri Fry.

Meeting adjourned at 9:12 pm.

Respectfully submitted, Carol Whitehead, Secretary
