Meeting convened at 7:31 PM

INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS: James is back and brought his shot gun, Janice. James has a new Jeep “Sky High”.





PRESIDENTS REPORT: Richard missed last meeting, he has been very busy. Ron has spent time at his shop this month. Ron thought he had tranny problems. Lesson learned – check fluid levels. Fluid leaked into the transfer case. Also remember to flush the radiator regularly.

VICE PRESIDENTS REPORT: Trina ran the Rubicon with Scott and some others. Barrett was snowed out; we will try again next year. Richard thanked those who came to help him on his roof.

TREASURERS REPORT: Mark was not present but according to Mike Mole the account is still open which is a good sign.

SECRETARYS REPORT: The minutes were approved as unread.

MEMBERSHIP: James is still coming and has been working on his Cherokee.

DELEGATE REPORT/LAND USE AND CONSERVATION: Del is not here but has been going to some shows and is still on the move.

CORRESPONDENCE: A copy of In Gear was passed around. The Bill for the P.O. fee was received. The Highlanders are going to have their Toy Run on December 3 at Lake Natomas. Bring a wrapped toy. The Trail Blazers invited us to Calico. Received Blue Ribbon notice. United 4 Wheel Drive renewal. Off Road wants news for their calendar. Information from the U.S. Forest Service trails designation was passed around. There was a discussion on the complaints on Trans American Auto Parts (4 wheel parts) complaints have been sent to the Better Business Bureau.

NEW BUSINESS: November 5 is the date for the Mokelumne Hill river cleanup. Winter Fun Fest is in January. (13, 14, 15) on MLK weekend. They will be going on a real run this year, Entry forms must be to Richard by December 10 with the entry money.

OLD BUSINESS: The Christmas Party will not be held at Richards this year due to his construction project. Thanks to the graciousness of Carol and Gareth the party will be held at their home on December 10. Ron asked for a map to post on the web. Gift exchange will remain the same as last year. A $20.00 limit and bring a gift for your children if they are coming.

PAST RUNS: The U.S. Forest Celebration was a great day Richard talked about our display and who went. On November 6 there was a trip to Apple Hill with several attending, everyone had a great time. Mike Mole went on our adopt a trail two weekends ago. No one was on the trail except a couple for deer hunters. It was a beautiful day with no problems.

FUTURE RUNS: Bronco Canyon is coming up November 12, and not many have signed up yet. Thanksgiving at Dillon Beach, about 6 rigs are signed up so far. Dillions 99 year lease is just about up. The owners of Dillion want to renew the lease but the government does not want to, there is also a Thanksgiving trip to Clear Creek with Gary Pearson.

COMMENTS: There being not comments the meeting was adjourned at 8:14. This was the shortest meeting this year.
