Meeting Minutes  
  April 7, 2005
Meeting convened at 7:00 pm at the Hotel Ledger in Mokelumne Hill.

MEETING MINUTES:





INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS: No guests were present but Mark Foley introduced his wife Amy.



PRESIDENTS REPORT: Richard and Gigi were out of town playing so there was not a presidents report.



VICE PRESIDENTS REPORT: Trina has her jeep under the knife after finding trouble during the clubs inspection day. Last month Trina shared information regarding a missing woman. Unfortunately she has been found deceased.



TREASURER: Mark gave a tentative report – he thinks we have approximately $1172.79. His computer is still packed from his move. Mark and Emily’s vacation in Mexico was fabulous.



SECRETARY: Minutes from March were available to read and are posted on the web site (thanks Mike). Sally moved and Emily seconded to accept the minutes.



MEMBERSHIP: Ron apologized for being late. He had been confronted by an ex-member who had been asked to leave the club and told Ron he was contacting a lawyer. Sally stated that she had informed the person of the club rules. He is claiming discrimination is being used against him. Ron has had some inquiries from a girl in Modesto and emails from Brazil talking about their jeep club. Pictures show flat fender jeeps and not much seems to be happening. Correspondence included, United Voices, Cal renewal information. There seems to be some discrepancies in the dues which have gone up $5.00. Ron will check on those who paid in January. Subject will be brought up in May. Blue Ribbon

and Off Road were received. Ron read a letter that the Nevada State Senate is

trying to stop all overnight parking of RVs in all parking lots in the state, RVs must be parked in camp grounds.



DELEGATE REPORT: Del is out of town. No report



OLD BUSINESS: Ron is still working on the member packets.



PAST RUNS: Road Patrol was March 6th, surveys were handed out but no one went on a run afterward. Vehicle Inspection Day was great. There was a good turn out and many hidden problems were found. They had a good lunch after the inspection. A list has been made by Trina and every jeep will be checked to for compliance.



FUTURE RUNS: Prairie City, Pete not present to report. Not many are signed up for this one. Hollister run, two different weekends are being considered for rescheduling. Middlegatge, If you have an interest contact Scot. Home Coming Parade, Trina will not be there, Ron will take Boss duty. Car Show, Nothing new to report. It will be Sunday May 15th from about 10 to 4. Memorial Day, Ron will be going to Winnemucca a week early and will save a camping spot he has arranged for port a pot to be there for club use. Ron is still thinking about buying property up there. Walker River, not many signed up. Adopt a trial is just not going to happen in June, probably after the 4th of July. 4th of July, Mark hasn’t had time to call his source yet. He will contact him and get info. Derby, Buddy did get in touch and we are 1st on the list. Training Day is scheduled for August 13th. Rubicon, Del not present to report. Barrett Lake still on if snow pack is down.



NEW BUSINESS: Mark commented on the angry member situation.



There being no further business the dinner meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
