Past Runs:
10/4 garage sale-went well. Coincided with grape crush weekend in Shenendoah Valley. Everything sold except the old ford p/u. Big items went well. Tires sold well. Had an accident in from to Ron’s house on Sunday (not their fault) where 2 people not wearing seatbelts were ejected. Will be planning another in late spring.
Moke River Clean-up- 10/18- Mark reported. Good effort and was a lot of work. Worked with the president who was interested in what we do. We should try to do a better job of turning out next time so that the other groups can have exposure to us. Made a good impression.

10/25 Apple Hill-not enough for a bus, but had 6-7 vehicles. Went to the same places as last year. Went to winery, Able’s for apple dumplings, was warm weather. Nice dinner in Placerville.

11/1 Adopt-a-trail clean-up- 5 vehicles, one was a quad. 2 pieces of trash. 10 inches of snow, lots of hunters, bear tracks. Everyone went in at Bear. Had lunch at Pardoe Lake. Mark went back and everyone else went through. One group of off-roaders went off trail and into the wilderness. Quad tracks went off road. Maybe there should be signs. Lower kiosk already has had a rock thrown through it. Richard will contact the Forest Service to see about replacing.

Future Runs:
Topaz 11/14-Mike reported. Will hopefully be able to make it to Bodie. Will try to make it in from the back side. Lots of jumping off places. Depends on weather.

11/27-30 Thanksgiving in Winnemucca has been changed. Going to California City which is just north of Mojave. Lots of desert running. If you want to go, contact Ron because they are going for the whole week. 6 hours either way.

Xmas Party-already discussed.

Dec 27-Jan 4 Doran Beach-make a reservation 37-47 in Gull Campground. Scott made reservations today at 41. There are still spaces available. Will eat out Saturday night in Fort Ross.
