Meeting Minutes

Ron Brought the meeting to order at 7:40 PM there were 9 members present:

Reports 
President: Ron was on vacation to Utah during the month. 
 
Vice President: Sick. 

Treasurer: Our current bank balance is $731.36 of which $105 is reserved for dues to BRC, and $20 for dues to UFW. Ken was asked to determine what our minimum balance needs to be in order to avoid monthly bank fees. 

Membership: Larry and Carol Whitehead are eligible for membership but are not present to defend themselves so we decided to table a vote until the appropriate time. 

Delegate/Land Use/ Conservation: Del is absent 

Correspondence: El Dorado Natl. Forest action plan outlining current projects currently in progress mostly maintenance related, Southwest 4WD assn. Sent their newsletter, Eldorado Natl. Forest is starting to gather public comments for their application to receive grants for OHV trail maintenance. Rough & Ready Jeep Club announces their 12th annual swap meet. Invitation to Lost Coast Historical Tour. Received a solicitation from a local person for us to sell his automotive cleaners as a fundraiser. 

Old Business: Med cards still need to be completed and returned to Ron. By law change, not enough members present. T-shirts still available at meetings and runs contact Richard or Mike. Tax ID number form was returned due to the fact that the information is incomplete. Hitch covers are stuck in transit and should be available at the VA City run. 

New Business: Buddy has been in contact with Roger Rigsby who wants us to tow vehicles for the Destruction Derby. Volunteers are Buddy, Richard, Dean, Ron, and Gareth. Buddy will work out the details with Roger and report back to the interested members. Mike applied for and was granted an adopt –a- trail in the name of Californiajeeper.com and Motherlode Rockcrawlers. The Round Valley Trail located 1 mile from Slickrock is 2.6 miles long. Hats are still in progress the maker is having a logistics problem with the logo. Flag design is still being worked out it is questionable if we will be able to come up with something that’s affordable as well as durable. We are about to run out of decals and a new order needs to be placed, Jerry made a motion that the decals be ordered and Mark seconded. The cost to the club was $391 for 50 decals last tome we ordered. Jerry suggested that the club look into some fundraising activities to help finance some of the club expenses. Cal 4 Wheel membership renewal is due by June 30.
