Meeting Minutes     January 2002 Ron brought the meeting to order at 7:35 PM there were 16 members present. Membership: Pete is absent getting the pins removed from his arm. Delegate: Del reports that he is a man of immeasurable leisure having retired from the CDF, unable to cope with the thought of all that free time he decided to go full time with Blue Ribbon Coalition. Del attended the San Diego OHV Expo said there were many associations in attendance, there are a lot of sand rail and dune buggy types down there. Correspondence: Received a letter from BRC asking for funds and a letter writing campaign to President Bush to help keep trails open and to keep the sport of motorized recreation alive. Election of Club Officers Club President: Ron DeLaney Vice President: Mike Stoller Treasurer: Ken Ketterling Secretary: Richard Yeargan Membership: Mark Stoller Delegate Conservation & Land Use: Del Albright Old business: The club has decided not to participate in the 4X4 show at Jackson Ford because of the support that FOMOCO has given to groups that are against motorized recreation, it is appropriate that we send a letter to Jackson Ford explaining our reason for declining and to perhaps forward a copy to FOMOCO. I will work up a letter and try to have it ready for the next meeting. T-shirts no news New Business: In anticipation of the new by-law change the members present paid their annual club dues at the new rate of $35, and a motion was made to raise the cost of new membership to reflect the rising cost of club decals.
