A family four-wheel drive club.
Dedicated to responsible four-wheeling and family fun.
We are a club made up of about 35 families. We have members that have all makes of four-wheel drive vehicles. Some families have ATV’s and motorcycles that are welcome additions on some of our club runs. In spite of our rockcrawling name, we thoroughly enjoy many SUV and sight-seeing trips each year.
Bronco Canyon in 2001, one of the most difficult trails we run.

Our club has functions year round. We have meetings once monthly and generally have two runs per month. We have overnight runs about 6 to 8 times a year. Our events and runs range from easy to moderate to very challenging. All our runs are rated in advance (see our run rating system here). We travel throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California to the mountains and canyons Nevada and Utah. We run famous trails like the Rubicon trail to trails like the beautiful granite domed Dusy Ershim trail. We explore historic sites and ghost towns in the Nevada back country as well as visit the California Coast for family fun trips. Ask about joining us as a guest.

Not only do we enjoy challenging ourselves and our vehicles. We volunteer for the National Forest Service by adopting trails with the Forest Service Adopt-A-Trail program. Maintaining our presence in the forest ensures that we can continue to have access to the wonderful trails and scenery that we all enjoy so much. The Adopt-A-Trail program gives us the opportunity to give back to the environment that we enjoy so much, and allows us to help ensure that the forest is available to ALL people and all activities. It proves that we can responsibly enjoy our chosen sport without irreversibly damaging the surrounding environment.
